Our solutions
IPSOS 12,9 / 14,9 / 16 / 16.9 / 19, all qualified tandem they are also excellent for single seaters.
Quality of production and materials :
Our tubes are made of highly resistant
aluminum alloys (2017) controlled one by one with Foucault current, following the AIR 9049C normative.
The new tubes for the keel are made of Zicral, permitting to replace the external reinforcement where the trike is hooked in. (also controlled with Foucault current according to the AIR 9049C normative).
Extremely rigid battens made of zicral (7075) in order to conserve their profile.
Multifibre and multicore stainless cables to ensure solidity, flexibility and longevity.
The steel screws and bolts are especially treated against corrosion.
The mast and the uprights are profiled
Upperworks are made of stainless steel and machined
aluminum alloys.




New junction between crossbar and leading edge permitting...
A hole drilled at 45� from external fiber in the leading edge to optimise resistance.
A mechanical support to the crossbar thus moving back the point of constraint in order to reduce the twist of the sail.



Quality of the sail
The upper surface sail has no porosity and is made of fibers that avoid ripping, it is also treated against Ultra Violet to enhance performance and security. Tissues have bin strategically placed upon the sail to increase protection of the most significant parts against UV.
The UV probation sample placed on the upper surface is to be send back to us when needed to test tissue resistance after a long period of use.
The distribution of the battens was designed to
optimize the held of the sail at all speeds.
An important proportion of double surface (78%) gives the glider a very fine profile and impressive performance.




An easy rigging and tuning:
Thanks to usage of push pins and snap hooks, no tools are necessary to rig our IPSOS gliders
The wing is attached to the trike with a floating cube, though it is possible to adjust the position of the cube with fixations.
Possibility to play on the leading edge tension in order to improve performance.
Also a possibility to play with the crossbar tension.

Security
Indeed, the IPSOS 16
.9 can support static charges up to 2800kg with no permanent distortion.
